Was the fifth event and I did finally order a meal. A steak sandwich with chips which was a large serving and the meat seemed very succulent. Another player ordered a pork sandwich which came with chips.
I did in fact win 2 games on time and drew one game. All games played today were 5 minute blitz. Today we sat at table 7.
Wonderful to grab a lift home after chess from another player at 6:24pm.

The Big Issue is a social enterprise that publishes a fortnightly magazine sold on the streets by people experiencing homelessness, marginalisation, and disadvantage. The magazine is a tool for vendors to earn an income, build confidence, and connect with the community. Beyond the magazine, The Big Issue also runs other social enterprises like the Women's Workforce and Community Street Soccer Program to create work opportunities for those in need.
The Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop stocks thousands of good-condition, second-hand and pre-loved books at very low prices. As part of the social fabric in Nundah for many years now, the bookshop is a true community hub. Proceeds from book sales support the Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop and to the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust.
